Animal Pelts
Day 18/100Day Project
At a Virginia Naturalist educational booth today, I admired these beautiful shiny pelts from various mammals. A family came to the table, and their children, like me, guessed about half of the pelts correctly. It was such a pleasure to watch the kid’s fascination and genuine interest in learning about these animals. In a time where children’s dictionaries delete names of plants and replace them with computer related terms, it is so important to expose children to the natural world.
