After a crazy two weeks that involved multiple medical visits including six hours inside an ER, an unprecedented flooding event in our county, several cancelled events, being on the periphery (thankfully) of other people’s drama, not to mention the constant backdrop of the political horror show, I came across this scene in my garden just as the sun was setting.
May we find moments of peace that remind us to breathe, to step away from the frenetic pace of life and to join the calendula flowers in soaking in the Buddha’s tranquility…. or is it the other way around?
